I know, I know, I haven't posted in a month. I have some serious picture downloading to do and then I'll tell you all about my niece's wonderful wedding, my friend's fabulous experience on our NYC trip, and Thanksgiving by the beach. Promise. Maybe even some cat antics.
But I got to thinking today, it's supposed to be Christmastime, and I really just don't feel very Christmas-y right now. Then I thought, what makes it feel like Christmas?
Is it the lights? The trees? The cold winter breeze?
Is it the carols and songs we hear only once a year?
Is it family and friends and cards and presents?
What makes it feel like Christmas?
Sorry, I don't really have an answer for you, but if you have one I'd love to hear it. I need to give this more thought. Maybe I just haven't slowed down since I got back from my trip. Maybe I need more hot chocolate and maybe a few cinnamon sticks in some hot apple cider. I'll take suggestions as well.
