Dogpile on Sunday...

So I'm in the Nursery at church. We have so many kids in Nursery that we have two Nursery's, and in mine we have all the kids turning 3 this year (they'll all be Sunbeams next year). They're really cute.

Last Sunday I was doing the "Birdie" song with them--it goes something like this:
"Way up in the sky the little birds fly" (flap your arms like you're flying)
"Way down in the nest, the little birds rest" (put your hands on your head and lay down (or just pretend if you're a big adult)
"With a wing on the left" (Wave your left elbow)
"And a wing on the right" (Wave your right elbow)
"The little birdies sleep all through the night..." (here we pause and let the kids pretend they're asleep. Sometimes we can get them to stay that way for almost a minute. Lately I've been having them pretend to snore--it's really funny. When ready to continue (or the kids are becoming restless...)
"The bright sun comes up!" (Get up like you're waking up)
"the dew falls around!" (wave your hands like the dew is falling all around)
"Good morning! Good morning! the little birds shout"
Now is the fun part. And you thought that part was fun. The kids have started giving out hugs after they "wake up". Last week, they all (there's 10 of them) tried to give me hugs at the same time. They knocked me over (course, I was sitting on the floor to begin with). So much fun.

Dog-piled by 10 3-year-olds. Definitely made my hug-quota for that day :D
