Happy Dance!

Dustie's coming, Dustie's coming! Dustie's coming to visit!! Well, more of a stopover on her way from Maine to California, as she helps her bfitwww drive home, but still!!! Oh, Dustie is my youngest Sister. She's also my biggest sister (at 5'9"), so I'm not allowed to call her my 'little' sister. She and her friend will be here Monday the 18th :D and her birthday is the 21st, so I can give her her birthday present IN PERSON!!! Haven't done that for YEARS!!! Yay!!!

Recently seen movies and/or DVD's

Star Wars: The Last Jedi (12-14-17) I really liked it. I don't care what all those haters say.
Thor: Ragnorok (11-2-17) I love Thor! This was the funniest movie yet, and we got to find out more about Hulk and Brue Banner. It was awesome.
Wonder Woman (6-22-17) second time, actually. It was wonderful, no pun intended. Finally, a good superhero movie, and it's about a woman!
BREAK: sorry, took off for a year. Starting back up again. May add what I saw if I remember.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens (12-19-15) Loved all the lightsaber battles, loved seeing our old favorites again. had to suspend disbelief for the whole WMD though. That was a little rediculous. Lots of homage to the original Star Wars, some think too much, but I liked it. the music didn't sound as recycled as for the prequels either, at least, not to me. Need to go see it again now.
The Mockingjay Part II (11-18-15) Excellent. Followed the book as closely as a movie can, came out on top IMHO. Jennifer Lawrence is amazing. Good ending to a great series.
Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation (8-15-15) Love Jeremy Renner, even if they have him being kind of a putz in these movies. But Tom did a pretty good job, and I loved the female lead - and that they didn't automatically fall in bed together. That was nice. Will be on the lookout for her - Rebecca Ferguson
Ant-Man (8-13-15) Loved this so much. It was funny and cute and even sllightly beleivable. Paul Rudd was great. Loved seeing Evangaline Lilly again too.
Terminator: Genysis (7-4-15) Arnold was in fine form, but the other characters totally made the movie for me. Lots of action and explosions, lots of homage to the original two films (not sure about the third, and the fourth was basically outside of this one anyway). Very well done.
Jurassic World (7-2-15) Really enjoyed this one. Chris Pratt is definitely on my List now. It was scarey-velous, lots of moments where people got eaten, and I loved how they solved the problem.
